The Rise & Rise of GSP
We trace our beginnings to 1981, when we starts manufacturing Biological Stains & pH Indicators at laboratory scale to serve the local Analytical and Pathological Laboratories in India under the brand GSP. In 1994, we expanded our manufacturing facility to a dedicated chemical zone in Tarapur, MH under the name of Esjay Chemicals for a bulk production. In 1997, we developed almost entire range of Stains, pH Indicators and Lab Reagents under a close observation for consistent quality at par with globally accepted specifications. We explored the potential of these pH Indicators beyond Lab testing, and took the opportunity to offer them to FMCG companies like Hindustan Lever Ltd., the first company to introduce Smart Floor Cleaning solutions to avoid piracy and show innovation by color change.

Citing further potential in pH Indicators for consumer applications, GSP focussed on developing and manufacturing highly specialized colors and custom-made pH Indicators (Magicol Series) specifically catering FMCG companies which developed high-end consumer applications.
Research, Development & Technology
With a specialty research centre and latest testing equipments in place, we are continuously investing our resources in the development of halochromes, newer and better innovative concepts that make life more colorful. With upto a dozen custom-made pH Indicators, GSP has attracted the attention of scores of esteemed FMCG companies, working hand-in-hand with us to develop new concepts.
Towards the Future
We look forward to channelize pH Indicators in consumer goods to the extent at which it replaces the ordinary products by our "Smart" products thereby reducing wastage due to excesses and reduce the consumer's costs with an authentication through color change.
